GET TO KNOW US BEFORE WE GET TO KNOW YOU
SO LASER-INC?
WHO ARE WE, HOW AND WHERE DID WE COME FROM? HELP US HELP YOU, KNOW US SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND AND KNOW WHAT YOUR NEEDS MAY BE......
Keeping things transparent and knowing who we are…..! Laser-inc
was established in 2019, or should we say the name Laser inc was generated in 2018/2019
after we merged a prior business we established in 2017 that started off as a
home based personal hobby called “Hydro dip it” prior 2017 that provided all
the listed services and more… , We generally started off by outsourcing most of
our work but soon faced the reality of many let downs in various industries due
to poor or no service at all from the industry leaders in the various service
fields we made use of, after some failed attempts in the market space due to
industry changes, challenges and market difficulties we dropped a number of
provided services to the public and rebranded with new services in the market
space as the brand now known as Laser-inc
in 2018/2019.
AND THEN AND
THEN???
During this period we sourced our own equipment to provide
our client base with speedy and professional in-house services on our own
machines rather than playing the middle man and making use of a outsourced
services or various companies for our clients, with our now own in-house
services we are able to provide the most affordable rates we are able to
provide without compromising on the quality of work provided to the end user.
Although Laser-inc is a small family owned and operated business,
we try our best to provide all our clients with the most affordable rates, on
hands workmanship, best turnaround times possible with limited hands at our
unique small family owned business that is possible in today’s time we all live
in.
DON’T BE
UPSET PLEASE…. UNDERSTAND WE DO WANT TO KEEP ALL OUR PEOPLES HAPPY……
90% of our designing and work is done in-house, we only
out-source services to provide an all in-one
turnkey solution depending of the client’s needs and requests for the
final product, Due to the nature of our business 90% of our business is custom and uniquely designed services for the client’s
needs and requirements, with that said this
does require us at times to pay attention to detail, leads to more time
required for communications to understand the needs of our clients leaving it
up to us to design/plan a finished working product as per the needs and
requirements of our clients, with this
we face new challenges daily depending the task at hand, this may lead us to put more time in at times than
originally planned when taken on the task/project that is required 1st time around with that
this may lead to slower turnaround times
on standardised services, our lead times
are generally work related and work load
dependable, we do provide general lead times on standardised services that is
common in the field that we able to calculate times needed for the service
required but it all boils down to the current projects on hand and the work
load at the time when you may need to make us of our services in the various
services we provide, when and where we able to provide a same or next day
service it the times allows us to we do push for it or the best turnaround times
without having to rush on projects.
WHY WHY WHY
?
Proud of what we do and have as a small family owned and
operated business having that day or two that we may face a new challenges we
are totally dedicated to provide our clients, friends and family with a working
solution at the end of the day or 2 or 3 days and willing to go the extra mile
for anyone, we will truly be blessed and greatful to provide a service to you.
UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS

COST AND PROCESS EXPLAINED
What is needed by Laser-inc for Quotations/Calculation for
job Costs?
1.
Design
– For us to to provide you with a quotation a digital design file in a 2D /
line drawing / CAD / Vector format is needed in “PDF/DXF/SVG/AI” on size,
Reason for this is the Cutting/Engraving cost are determined by YOUR UNIQUE DESIGN and the run time the machine
will take to process the design. Our costs are calculated on distance travelled
or time the machine would need to process your unique design, we also calculate
in factors like what amount of material that is needed to process the required
job as well as power and speeds we need to run the machine at to provide you
with the best results needed to process your design on the various materials
available or required as well the material thickness and grades on the
materials suppliers stock.
2.
Design
file processing – Once we have a final and on size design file we then
need to further process the file in a format using specialized software that
enables us to program the design file for the machines to understand what we
need the machine to do.
3.
Quote
Generation- Step 1 Design and Step 2 Design processing completed, we
now have a final design and a programed file on hand to enable the machine to
do what is needed, during this step. We are now able to determine the machine
run times, distance and how much material we will need to use to complete your
unique design. At this point we are able to provide you with a quotation on the
required job.
4.
Getting
Ready – Once the approval and quotation is accepted by our clients we
now need to move to further process of the work flow, at this point we now need
to queue and upload the final files to the machines, depending on what is
required and Qty needed we need to set up final processes on the machines,
material placement, layouts, jigs or templates that might be needed to hold the
pre made items in place for cutting, engraving or marking. Generally called
setting things up and machine operation by the machine operator.

General
things to keep in mind – as a service provider we generally make use of
the best products we source by local or international suppliers, the reason we
prefer to supply the product to our client is due to the on-going support from
the supplier if or any defects may accrue during the process of cutting,
engraving or marking of a product. Many products may seem and look the same but
the material grades may differ and the results may not come out as expected by
us or the client on a non-tested item or product supplied to us by the client
from a unknown source, if for any reason quotes provided to our clients on
products may not be within their budget and the client is able to provide the
product to us if they may find the product at a price that fits their
budget, we do require a test unit for
our reference to enable us to test the product for the best results we able to
get, we do make use of general programing on unknown products or unknown
product grades to our best ability but doing this at times may result in failed
attempts to provide the best results we able to provide the client. PLEASE NOTE
supplying your own products that may have a defective result during the work
process your require Laser-inc to do without providing a sample or test unit we will not be held
responsible for unknown defects or poor results that may accrue during the
required process. Items like Glass when engraving may result in cracks at weak
points that the naked eye may not see, we do advise if we are engraving glass
that you provide a extra unit or two just in case the laser may cause the glass
to crack during the process, we advise if you require glass engravings a decent
quality glass and thickness of the glass is provided to us to ensure the laser
engraving process has a maximum job pass rate.
